What is a “Vial of Life”
The Vial of Life is a lifesaving initiative designed to help emergency medical personnel quickly access vital health information during a crisis. Participants complete a simple form with important details such as medical conditions, allergies, medications, and emergency contacts. This information is stored in a labeled pill bottle on the top shelf of your refrigerator—one of the first places EMS professionals look during a medical emergency. By ensuring your information is easily accessible, the Vial of Life can make a critical difference when every second counts.
