Fire Fighter – Protecting Lives & Property
New recruits complete three months of hands-on training, followed by twice-weekly drills to maintain peak readiness. Our highly trained team responds to all fire emergencies, safeguarding lives and property with skill, dedication, and teamwork.

EMS – Providing Lifesaving Care
The St. James Fire Department operates at the Emergency Medical Technician (Basic) level, delivering critical care when seconds matter. Our EMS team undergoes extensive, hands-on training and must demonstrate proficiency in life-saving techniques to ensure the highest level of emergency response for our community.

Fire Police – Ensuring Safety & Support
Fire Police members complete two days of essential training, followed by ongoing specialized instruction through occasional meetings. They play a vital role in emergency response, assisting at fire and medical incidents while also providing traffic and scene safety at special events.
