This five-year plan was approved by the Board of Directors of the St. James Fire Department, Inc.  This Plan encompasses the five fiscal years running from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2030.

This plan addresses the many challenges that the Department faces over the coming years due to major changes coming to our fire district.  

Principal among them is population growth that will significantly increase demands on an already burdened EMS division.   More structures mean more people, accidents of all kinds and possibly more fires.  Also included is consideration to have the Fire Police cover the entire fire district.

The focus of the plan is on steps to maintain our all-volunteer status, saving the St. James Fire Department $2-3 million per year.
