Our Governing Body
The St. James Fire Department is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors elected by the membership. The Board sets department policy, approves the annual budget, and ensures the long-term sustainability of our operations. Board meetings are open to the public and held monthly at the fire station.

The St. James Fire Department, Inc. Board of Directors will hold its regular monthly meetings at the Town of St. James’ Homer E. Wright Event Center, 4136 Southport-Supply Road, St. James, NC. Meetings are held at 4:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month, unless otherwise announced. Meetings are open to the public, including St. James Fire District property owners and residents, except during Executive Session.
